"For starters, intimacy means that we can be who we are in a relationship, and allow the other person to do the same. An intimate relationship is one in which neither party silences, sacrifices, or betrays the self and each party expresses strength and vulnerability, weakness and competence in a balanced way."
The Dance Of Intimacy, by Harriet Goldhor Lerner, Ph.D.

“We shall draw from the heart of suffering it self the means of inspiration and survival”
Winston Churchill

"Happiness is the result of realizing the truth. Joy is the
radiance of the heart when truth is appreciated."
The Pearl Beyond Price, A.H. Almaas
